  • This resolution commemorates the accomplishments of Hall of Fame Boxer Wilfredo Benitez.

    At the age of just 17, Wilfred Benitez became the youngest world champion in the history of professional boxing on March 6, 1976. To this day he still holds the Guinness World Record for the youngest boxing world champion.

  • In celebration of Women’s History Month, this resolution recognizes the contributions of Latinas in the State of Illinois.

  • This resolution congratulates La Bruquena Restaurant and owners Roberto Miguel Tanon and Zoraida Rivera Tanon on their 35th anniversary and thanks them for all of their contributions to the 26th Ward community.
